The membership in 1909 was 300.  The clubhouse has a reading room, spacious billiard & poolroom, new & high grade bowling alleys, a place where the "elixir of life" is served and other conveniences enjoyed by men who desire an hour or two of recreation and sociability when the whirl of business is over.  Membership in the North End Club is a good certificate for a person's standing in business and social circles.
